I didn't actually set out to make a puppet of Shirley Manson...  While adding a face it just stated to look like her.  So I took out a Garbage CD and just went with it!

ZAPPA on ZAPPA!!!

A few years back I made a Frank Zappa puppet for my Aunt Desi and Uncle John for Christmas... They were the ones to turn me on to Zappa when I was a teenager, and I haven't turned back...
John went to see Dweezil Zappa's show "Zappa Plays Zappa" last year and brought the puppet with him and managed to get Dweez to sign him!
I was pretty stoked when Desi showed me!

Rod Puppet from It's Late Enough With Plink!

Oh man...

This one was made for the old Plink show. Anytime we wanted to have a celebrity guest we would make a rod puppet using a picture of the celebrity as the head, then make a body. Or sometimes we'd just get a cardbord cut out of the person and use that. We also did ones of Hugh Jackman, Willie Nelson, and Ewan McGregor. If I can ever find pictures of them I'll make sure to post them up.

Funny side note... When we had Axl Rose on the show we had already made a mouth puppet of him...

I used this piece of animation to help design the puppet. I thought it would be fun if he looked a little like the version of Han seen in the Star Wars Holiday Special from way back
