This little lady is a prototype for a puppet Elmwood will hopefully be using over the summer for a project. Wanted to make a rough draft first, to make sure the producer of the show likes the look. I'll end up probably making 5-6 copies for the project.

And, like Tugger last week, the one used in the production of
"ANIMAL BEHAVIOR"
I love this puppet, like Tugger last week it's also exactly what I wanted it to be!

And since last week I shared a picture of the real Tugger I feel like I gotta share one of the real Ripper too! Sadly he passed away last December, at 14 years old. He was the ultimate cuddle monster, and sweetest cat I ever had.

It started with a store bought doll, just cut opened and gutted!
Then I pulled some of the armature wire it came with out and made a mouth and eyes. Added some classic yarn hair, and a little weird dress!
And she's ready to kill!

Today would have been my brother Michael's 40th Birthday.
Wow. 40.
Not a day goes by where I don't think of him in some way. A random memory, or I hear a song, or I wonder what he would have thought about what I've been doing, or if he would have liked Revenge of the Sith.
I'm pretty sure he would love it and be part of this puppet madness!
