IGGY! IGGY! IGGY'S Everywhere!

 What's an Iggy?

Iggy is a puppet!  

A monster? Maybe...  A goblin? Maybe... A troll? Maybe?

Iggy's are just that...  An Iggy!

And Iggy's are available now on the official Etsy shop of Elmwood Productions - Jon's Java!

And Iggy even has a little real history...

In 1994 Jim Henson Productions teamed up with Hasbro to make a line of toys based on the idea of "The Muppet Workshop".  As part of this they made two puppets, with removable features.  I was just really starting to want to take puppetry kinda seriously as a hobby, or life and these were awesome to me.  Especially as a Muppet-head.  

I ended up buying both, and named them Iggy and Bowie.  The toy line didn't last long though - Here's a link to Muppet Wiki with more info on the puppets.

During the 2020 lockdown I decided to make my own version of the one I named Iggy. 

 And then I realized it would be fun to make a bunch of them, some full professional and some more in the economy price range and get Iggy out into the world for more people to enjoy!
There are about a dozen of them now on available on Etsy!
In two different price ranges, a full professional puppet head sewn made with Nylafleece or Fuzzelle, and a more economy version made with classic polar fleece.

We stand on the side of freedom. Of democracy. And of kindness.

We stand on the side of individuality without persecution. We stand with arts. We stand with education. We stand with National Parks. We stand with religious freedom.

We stand on the side of NOT being a dick... {Cough...} We mean no accepting a dictator, and just say no to kings.

This is Rich. 

We're raising a toast to what would be a nite of a good buzz and a lot of laughs.

Two years ago over the summer Elmwood shot eight episodes of a show called "It's Going in Rich's Mouth" and a year ago we stated releasing them. Now, on almost the exact anniversary of the first episode coming out the last episode has hit YouTube.

This was fun show. Make sure to watch all the episodes HERE!

But this post is a Rich appreciation post.

I firtst met him in 1989 or 1990. I was 14 or 15. IHe came up to me in the hallway of our high school and asked if I was The Jungle Man. 

Great, I thought, another guy who is going to try to make fun of me for making weird movies. 

But I was way wrong. He though The Jungle Man movies were funny as Hell and wanted to be a part of it.

And now 30 plus years later he still is.

Rich is a sweet man and one of the funniest people ever. He is so funny he laughs at all his own jokes while telling them.
 And a legit good friend. 

Everyone needs a Rich in their lives.
